With regard to the bill for £39. 11. 8 against 5

cases of Cotton Thread drawn by Lamm Brothers, Antwerp, on

the Union Trading Company, this was taken by us for collection

only,

The bill has been accepted by the drawess in Hongkong,

but has not yet been paid, and should the proceede eventually

reach us they will be held by us pending the termination of the

War under advice to the Public Trustee, Custodian for England

& Wales.

We trust the foregoing details will enable you to

issue the desired permit for the importation of the goods into

Hongkong.
